Choose The Perfect Wedding SongsWedding songs are a must at any wedding. So there has to be a few songs that you have in mind that you would want to be played at your wedding. There are several different parts to the wedding and in each part, or segment, you can have selected songs being played to set the right mood and tone for you and your guests. Here is a run down of some of the segments that mostly have songs being played: 1. The wedding ceremony march This list is just some of the segments, you may include or exclude where you would want to play your songs. It is not very popular to play songs during the bouquet toss, garter toss, removal of garter, or garter replacement. However, as I said before, the choice is yours!! Here is a break down of some songs that you may find interesting or may want to add to your list. I will list them in segments. Bouquet Toss: During this segment the MC or the Host will ask all the single ladies to come forward for the bouquet toss. It is like this, the bride tosses the bouquet to them and anyone that catches the bouquet will, traditionally, be the one that is said to be the next one to get married. Here is a list of suggested bouquet toss wedding songs:
The Garter Toss: Just as how all the single females lined up to catch the bouquet, so too will all the single men line up to catch the garter. Check out this list of songs that can be played during this event:
Removal of the Garter: This is what some men don't mind doing, while others think it is just plain out right disgusting to be going under their wife's dress like that. Personally, I didn't mind :-). The bride sits in a chair that is smacked right in the middle of the dance floor while the groom does his thing. Check these songs out that you can play during this part of the wedding:
Replacing the Garter: Catching the bouquet and the garter comes with responsibility as well. Now the winners of both event will have to perform for the crowd. Just like the bride, the single lady will have to sit on the chair in the middle of the dance floor and the man will then have to slide the garter up her leg to as far as she feels comfortable. Imagine that. Let us see what garter replacement wedding songs can be played during this particular moment in the wedding:
Now as i explained before, some brides and grooms may choose not to have either the bouquet or garter toss. It is up to you to decide what you want to do at your wedding. That being said, it is most common to only have the bouquet toss. Make a note of this example!! You can do a variation of the bouquet and garter toss. You may have what is known as an "anniversary dance". This is where the MC will invite all the married couples at the reception to the dance floor. The musician will then play a love song for them to enjoy a nice dance together. The couples will then be asked to leave according to how many years they have been married and the last couple standing will get a chance to dance another song or a couple of other wedding songs, or they could be given the bride's bouquet. Cool isn't it? Now, note that when this is happening the couples will have no ideas as to what will be the aim of the request, so that will make it even more fun after it is over and done with, :-) So you can have a wide array of wedding songs spread right throughout your reception and ceremony. You will just have to let your choices and requests be known so as to have a smooth process going forward. If you are a guitar specialist you can even play your own songs or get persons to play the guitar for you. Find out how you can play Acoustic Guitar Wedding Songs here!
